What vacation made me do

with 0 comments
In a lot of ways, one-week vacation may seem fun. That is if you take time to go to the beach with friends or family or both, or go to a go-cart track and drive those things that boys absolutely enjoy (which I beg you to explain me why). However, vacation and I aren't harmonious with each other. I despise going outside the house and I'd rather watch series of TV shows (no matter how unacceptable). I am a lazy person. I try not to move a lot and if it's normal for everyone, I'd rather crawl. That's how fruitful my life is and believe me if you're an adventure-junkie, you would not want to be stuck in a body like mine. Or at least think like me. But, I would not say I'm all for the downs. Being stuck in the house makes me choose nothing else for fun but to read. And because the Graveyard Book was left in Manila, I found this book that I gave to my brother some time ago. Ang Paboritiong Libro ni Hudas (Judas's Favorite Book), it does not sound as violent, believe me. It's one of the funniest books you'll ever read, of course if you are a Filipino. I've read this book way back in highschool and I must say I did not notice the hidden words within it. Not until my sister's friend told her that the weird words written as you go from chapter to the other are the seven deadly sins. When I found out, I was like "cool".

The Favorite Book of Judas

"Anger"

"Envy"

My favorite part of the book. The Barber Shop joke

And for some random message, I got to find the vintage cameras my friends gave me when I was in highschool (big thanks to OJ and Dan). These were their parents' cameras when they were younger. They don't work anymore though. But they're still wonders.

Vacation also includes the part where groceries run out, especially if you have a brother like mine who has a very hearty appetite. (hehehe) It's cool to experiment with resources left in your house. Might as well eat them before the big expiration day approaches. However, if the fridge got nothing left to offer and its existence stated the great solitude, you'll always have powdered milk and chocolate for your poor, and longing tongue.

No it's not Kadiri people!
